DrayTek VDSL2 and ADSL2+ Modem Routers

VDSL2 is one of the main alternatives for the aging ADSL2+ connections. For up to 1.6 km, it offers faster speeds than ADSL2+ under the same line conditions.

Under the Multi-Technology Mix (MTM) in NBN deployment, VDSL technology has been adopted for a big proportion of the population, including multi-dwelling units, FTTB and FTTC deployments.

The VigorNIC 132F PCI-E based router can be fitted directly into a computer server used for either industrial or commercial applications. It is fitted with a VDSL2 / ADSL2+ WAN port and an SEP port for installation of either an optic fibre or Ethernet WAN interface for backup Internet connection. The xDSL connectivity supports Fibre to the Basement / Node (FTTB / N) where VDSL is required for the last mile such as in basements of multi-dwelling buildings.

Supported features include an Object-oriented Firewall, Denial of Services (DoS) protection and URL content filtering. A bridge mode is also available.
