only). It provides easy Internet sharing for Broadband and cost-effective voice communication over the Internet.

The Vigor2100V series lets you make the jump from dial-up to broadband, allowing you to share your external modem (such as Cable, Wireless or ADSL) among all the users
on your LAN. The Vigor2100V series conveniently includes a switch allowing 4 PCs to be connected directly to the router. The Vigor2100VG model also includes an 802.11g Wireless Access Point with security
features to provide convenience of accessing your LAN and internet without having to lay cables.
The Vigor2100V series firewall provides the ideal balance of ease of use and security to help protect your network.
The Vigor2100V series VoIP facilities can provide a cost-saving alternative to having an additional fixed line. VoIP calls over your cable/xDSL broadband connection
can be made to any other compatible device, anywhere on the Internet and anywhere in the world, free of charge. By using an Internet Telephony Service Provider
(ITSP) such as SpanTalk with a PSTN gateway you can also make calls to any regular phone line, including
mobiles, as well as receive calls from anyone - the call is carried to your phone via your internet connection so your regular phone line remains free for other people or calls.
The POTS life-line facility provides for automatic failover to your regular phone line in the event of power failure, as well as letting you use the same phone to access either your regular phone line or VoIP facility when required.
The Vigor 2100V includes QoS (Quality of Service) function to assure priority for VoIP Internet traffic.
The Vigor2100V series router has an email detection feature for notifying users that your POP3 mail server is holding email by lighting an "e-mail" LED on the front panel of the router without having to turn on your PC or check your email software. This facility can check up to 5 POP3 e-mail accounts.
