VigorPro5500 is an all-in-one anti-virus, anti-trojan and anti-intrusion security appliance for SOHO, SMB and enterprises. It provides real-time protection against viruses, worms and malicious programs coming from e-mail, FTP and web pages. With DrayTek's DrayOS™ kernel, VigorPro5500 provides robust and stable VPN, firewall and routing functionality, and website content filtering to block Internet sites based on customer set rules.
The VigorPro5500 has a hardware-based scan engine, which scans packet stream in real-time without performance downgrade typical of legacy proxy-based anti-virus/anti-intrusion solutions. Thus it protects the whole network against any intrusion and malicious program by not allowing those specious content to enter the internal network.
Each VigorPro5500 comes with 12 months of DrayTek Labs or Kaspersky Labs signature updates for anti-virus/anti-intrusion. DrayTek VigorPro5500 also supports anti-spam for detecting or blocking the incoming spam mail. To ensure the highest possible level of spam detection, VigorPro5500 allows creating many combination rules including blacklists and whitelists of IP addresses and keywords.
