9. Call Transfer to Another Gateway

9.1 User (A) Dials (B), then Call Transfers to (E)

Dialing steps:

  1. (A) picks up phone and hears the dial tone
  2. (A) dials 502# (Ext. Number) and hears the ring back tone. (B) phone is now ringing
  3. (B) picks up phone and talks with (A)
  4. The conversation continues, then (B) presses Trans. Button, dials 301# (Ext. Number) and hears the ring back tone. (E) phone is ringing. (B) hangs up phone
  5. (E) picks up phone and talks with (A)

Tip: If (E) is not available or doesn’t wish to speak with (A), (B) can press LINE 1 button to speak with (A).

Tip: Trans. Button is on above of LINE 1 button and LINE 1 button is next to LINE 2 button. Please refer to the image below:

9.2 User (D) Dials User (B), then (B) Call Transfers (D) to User (F)

Dialing steps:

  1. (D) picks up phone and hears the dial tone from Telstra
  2. (D) dials 9288 1111 and hears the ring back tone from Telstra. (X3510) picks up the call and plays the welcome greeting
  3. (D) dials 502# (Ext. Number), (B) phone is now ringing
  4. (B) picks up phone and talks with (D)
  5. The conversation continues, (B) presses Trans. Button, dials 302# (Ext. Number) and hears the ring back tone.(F) phone is ringing, then (B) hangs up the phone
  6. (F) picks up the phone and talks with (D)
