DrayTek Simplifies Remote VPN Access with EasyVPN

DrayTek has introduced EasyVPN, a new feature designed to streamline VPN setup for teleworkers and remote users. With EasyVPN, establishing a dial-up VPN tunnel is now simpler than ever, users only need to enter a username and password or use a one-time password (OTP) sent via email.

This user-friendly approach eliminates the need for complex configuration steps, such as generating WireGuard keys or importing OpenVPN profiles, making VPN access more accessible for non-technical users.

In addition to simplified setup, EasyVPN enhances connection reliability by automatically switching to an available VPN protocol if one fails, ensuring a more stable and seamless VPN experience.

Supported Models and Firmware:

EasyVPN is currently supported on the following DrayTek models:

  • Vigor2136, Vigor C510, and Vigor C410with firmware version 5.3.1
  • Vigor2767 with firmware version5.3.6.1
  • Vigor2962, Vigor3910, and Vigor3912with firmware version 4.4.5

Cross-Platform VPN Support

The EasyVPN and Smart VPN Clients are available on major platforms:

  • Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux

These clients support a range of VPN protocols, including IPsec, IKEv2, EAP, WireGuard, and OpenVPN, enabling secure and flexible connectivity across different devices, all made easier with EasyVPN.
