Compact 2.5GbE PoE+ Switch with 10GbE Uplinks for High-Performance Business Networking

The VigorSwitch PQ1070x is an ideal solution for SOHO and small business networks that require high performance in a compact form factor.

It features five 2.5 GbE PoE+ ports, each delivering up to 30W, with a total PoE budget of 75W, making it well-suited for powering IoT devices such as LED lighting, POS systems, and motion sensors. In addition, two SFP+ ports support 10 Gigabit fibre modules, providing flexible high-speed uplink options.

With a switching capacity of 65 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 48.36 Mpps (64-byte packets), the PQ1070x ensures fast and reliable data transmission for modern network environments.

Designed to enhance connectivity and operational efficiency, the switch supports advanced features including VLAN, Storm Control, Quality of Service (QoS), and Loop Detection, helping businesses maintain a stable, secure, and efficient network infrastructure. QoS allows prioritisation of critical application traffic, while the intuitive web-based GUI enables easy management and monitoring.

Power over Ethernet (PoE)

The VigorSwitch PQ1070x has five 802.3at/802.3af-compliant ports, delivering up to 30W per port and a total power budget of 75W. It is sufficient to power several network devices, such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, via Ethernet cabling.  PoE enables these devices to be installed where no nearby mains power is available. This reduces the need for power cables and adapters, lowering installation costs.

Flexible VLAN Options

The VigorSwitch PQ1070x supports both port-based and tagged-based VLANS, which can be used to add security to your network and create workgroups within an organisation. This allows the network administrator to control LAN access and also reduce unnecessary network traffic.

Up to 32 VLANs are supported in the VigorSwitch PQ1070x.

Network Security

The VigorSwitch PQ1070x includes security features to prevent the local network from being overloaded by superfluous traffic. This includes Storm Control to limit the amount of broadcast, multicast and unicast traffic on each port.

Improving Performance by QoS

Heavy LAN traffic can affect critical or time-sensitive applications such as VoIP or video streaming. The QoS feature of the VigorSwitch PQ1070x can prioritise critical or time-sensitive data so that it is not affected by other traffic.

The VigorSwitch PQ1070x supports up to 7 traffic queues, using Strict Priority Queuing or Weighted Round Robin to prioritise data for the selected Class of Service.
